Does anybody remember this gig? It's one of the best i've been to. besides that, does anybody recall the hassle from the GuildhAll staff.
I was only young then (20). Where? any of you guys in the the Foyer bar? The London guys had hit Preston big style. Bowie copies/clones a plenty. Luved it. And still do. xx
Was that the biggest mirrorball you've ever seen?
Mr Dale & Mr Peter's - Do you remember?

I love your enthusiasm mate all these years on!! I can't honestly say that in this day and age, young 'uns get quite as buzzed up about gigs.

That is unless you've seen The Libertines, with their full line-up!

Keep on rolling!!

I dont think it was 1976 though
At that time bowie was in his "thin white duke" phase and he never brought that show to preston nor any subsequent shows for that matter
Last time he played preston was in 1973(june i think)on the final ziggy tour which culminated in the famous killing off of ziggy at hammersmith odeon
