Parked up in Cockermouth yesterday to get a pie, come back to my car and there`s a fixed penalty notice on it. The sign said "Disc zone - parking one hour no return within one hour." I assumed this means if you have a disc you can stay longer (as is the case in Ulverston), but apparently you get a disc from the local shops and display how long you`re going to be.
How the fuck are you supposed to know if you`re not from Cockermouth, and as it is a busy tourist town, how many people are they ripping off?
Are there any such schemes in Preston? Because if there are, I`ve never seen them. :mad:
