go on your options and edit all that stuff! like make it so you cant play in background and tell it to save once a year instead of once a week!

im derby county at the moment in about 4th place!

Im Lancaster. I started off in Conference North, and now im in league 2. 2 successive promotions, ive now got players likes Billy Jones and Matty Fryatt. Ive just bid for Nugent,Mckenna and Youl then :D

I eventually got Lancaster into the Championship, but struggled, and now im Plymouth and have in 2 seasons been knocking on the play-off door.

But to make it work you have to have to 6.0.3 version

righty-o, firstly you need .rar to extract the files...

Then extract it to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data then in the data folder you will find a folder call db.. move the files into the db files, it will ask you to overwrite the files click yes then you should be sweet....

What is wrong?
its fm06 not loading?
when its finished loading the update isnt done ie Tevez still at corinthians?
or are the files not being extracting from .rar?

nowt really to do with this topic but its fm2006, when going on the editor it dosent load, it gets to loading people data then crashes and i dont no what to do. any help would be nice

Simple question, does Football Manager 2006 load up when you press load game....and when it does is Tevez at WHU???

open your folder up to data (:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data )... then upload or extract the db folder which is in the .rar file.. into the data folder..

Then open your db folder(which should be inside the data file) this should look like the picture below..

if your bd folder has a folder inside called db,then you've placed it too far in the folders..you should now cut the db folder (which is inside the first db folder), then go back to the data folder and paste the db folder into the data folder... it should ask to overwrite you db folder, and click yes..
