It's becoming more and more obvious that they do not have a single clue what they are doing with the traffic system in town. Clueless.

25,000??????? As much as I think the whole thing is a complete farce how have 25,000 people (or fewer if some are doubley stupid) been caught by it?

It's as baffling as the number of people who have crashed into the Fishergate bollard!

Isn't it 30 if paid promptly? Anyway, still a big sum for about 6 weeks.

I was in town, Monday, around lunchtime, in the short period that i was in the fishergate area, couldnt have been more than 5 mins I counted 20 cars driving down there. Its like the sheep effect, one does it and 4 or 5 follow.

Between 1.38m and 690k depending on when the fines were paid. As you said, some going for 6 weeks.

Will we get a reduction now in our Council Tax?

I think I know the answer to that which then begs the question, what exactly benefits from these fines to make public life that bit better?

I initially thought they had said it wrong and that it was 2500, however they then went on to say 16,000 had already paid the fine.

wonder how many might have started turning right at the top of Butler street, when they said they were scrapping the bus lane? they might have thought that was ok too?
