    Also, the crowd probably feels less attached from the rugby player with a more modest salary and often more effort made on the pitch........... no diving, cheating, faking injuries etc

    This probably explains why I find rugby so unutterably boring.

    Just have to say, "If rugby was that better than football, they wouldn't need to pick the ball up with their hands"!
