Absolutely horrible news. He was a quality defender and nobody ever had a bad word to say about him.

    RIP Ugo.

    Shocking news, RIP Ugo.

Merson was struggling to get his words out on TV earlier.

Why is everyone potentially avoiding the issue of the farming of African players.

    That was incredibly moving.

I'll always remember seeing a young Ehiogu playing for West Brom reserves in the days when our reserves played at Deepdale. He looked very raw but had all the basic attributes and obviously improved tremendously over the years to become one of our best centre halves. Always came across well on television and everything I've read about him points to a good bloke who was doing very well and was going to have an impact on a lot of players.

Exceptionally sad news, thoughts with his family.

A legendary name from my childhood, when football was ace.

    RIP big Ugo.

That's two 90's Villa legends that have passed away in tragic circumstances within 12 months.
