85% of people are stupid, I am so glad I am in the 10% of the clever ones.

Heres an interesting question that constituents should be asking, "Why did the 49 Labour MPs who can't support Corbyn on Brexit, stand for election 22-days ago on a manifesto which contained that pledge?"
"People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it"

Just because it's in the manifesto you don't have to believe in it.....Jezza doesn't believe in retaining Trident (and neither do I!)

    Self serving politicians.
Raefil, He's the second best moderator this forum has ever had, closely behind Nobber.

Or, alternatively, people voting on principle and in line with what their constituents believe - Daniel Zeichner being a perfect example.

Spotted this change.org petition from 2003 that paints Jezza's mate in a rather unsavoury way :

Expel John McDonnell, MP for Hayes and Harlington, from the Labour Party

John McDonnell has brought the Labour Party into disrepute by publically suggesting that members of the Provisional IRA should be honoured for their armed struggle. This is a disgraceful insult to the many dead and injured members of HM services and members of the RUC who suffered at the hands of those criminals. He has dishonoured the memories of thousands of victims of terrorism.

This petition was delivered to:Leader of the Labour Party
    Labour Party National Executive
There are basically two types of people. People who accomplish things, and people who claim to have accomplished things. The first group is less crowded.
