I popped in for one before the England game and again this afternoon. Excellent selection of beer and with the added bonus of a fridge full of quality beer for a carryout which I'm now enjoying in my garden.

Had few over the weekend in the Plug & Tap.

    I'd a Cloudwater 2/3's @ 6:65p - lovely, but pricey...

That's the end of the market Adam the owner is trying to cater for. Top end, usually high percentage craft beer a la Cloudwater, Magic Rock etc. Whether it works in Preston we'll see. Orchard tried doing similar at first but very quickly dropped their prices and stopped selling the big hitters as it wasn't selling.

    Time will tell.

Hopefully it doesn't turn out that way. Think the most I paid for a 2/3 was about £8 for Verdant Putty. Was worth every penny.

In 1986 I did the windows on the whole house for less than £8
