He'll either refuse to answer or say that they're stronger in different areas.

Won't get a straight answer anyway.

      Re-work it a little perhaps.

Alex, let's say hypothetically one of Rudd or Maxwell was going to be injured all season and we couldn't bring in any other replacement for whatever reason, which keeper would you prefer was the one which remained fit?

Would work wonders for the morale of one of the keepers

"Which keeper would you rather have injured?" then?

It might as well read "Which bollock would you rather have chopped off?"

Taking account of the owner’s age there has been much speculation and comment on this board about the future of the club. This is perhaps the most important issue that will affect all other matters about the future conduct of the club. With that in mind I would like the panel to have the chance to comment on this as far as they are able.

To Peter R and John K

The large majority of sensible supporters are much appreciative of the owner’s ongoing support for the club. Is that likely to continue for the foreseeable future and beyond that is it more likely that ownership of the club will pass to others within the owner’s family or eventually be sold to an external party whoever that may be.

“Alex, can you debunk the myth that we’ve signed up to play Lukas Nmecha in every single game that he’s availble for? A few PNE-Onliners have come to the conclusion that, because you don’t rate Louis Moult, you must’ve agreed to bring in a 19 year old on the condition that he starts every game. Is it not just as simple as you preferring his abilities to those of Moult’s?”

Then you have at least 2 public speeches by Hemmings (Great Room and on the pitch) saying and advocating the same thing.

We then bring in, after Port Vales cut, around £12.5m from Hugill, Cunningham, Doyle and Horgan and yet after a very strong previous season of 7th, we don't reinvest in the one area that we have been crying out for, manager and fans alike, up top.

                My point being this.

After all we have been told since 2012, we finally had all of the ducks lined up this summer and we do nothing in the area where it really matters.

Excellent post JD.... Are you going to the fans forum to post this question ??

                  Hopefully, yes.

I expect a spun answer in return.

I agree, great post. Reinforcing the view that we are serial underinvestors whenever we appear to be within touching distance of that final step up,ie. previously under Moyes and Davies and now Neil. Frustrating to say the very least.....

                    • If (and I hope it doesn't come to it) Alex Neil became so frustrated he decided to leave us. What does the panel think are the strengths of the club which would attract an equally good or better replacement?

Also, do you think the level of budget would be a disincentive to any equally good managers?

Anyone going want to ask those?

Can't argue with any of that. Great points.

What kind of contract in AN on? When does it expire? Would he ever consider voluntarily leaving? Do we potentially have a manager in situ who feels he had the rug pulled from under his feet ? Is he now a bit miffed and holding out for the sack?

What I'm referring to does not matter as to what kind of contract AN is on, they wouldn't tell us anyway......rightly so. It opens up the debate about backing him and our financial transfer policy.
