What is the correct position regarding iain HUME

To be honest, and I manage a Group of Companies, if I sacked every member of staff who's wife thought ill of me, I would need a new workforce every year............

Exactly!

He needs to grow a pair, he's obviously a very weak man inside with a hard exterior that doesn't take kindly to a bit of name calling.

-Fookin Tart!

So, it seems Graham Westley's plan is to sign players who don't think he's a fucking wanker.

Let's hope this doesn't limit his options too much.

PNE4LIFE.....i have never voiced my opionion on westley one way or the other.i dont know if he will be a winner or loser at north end.all i want is for the team to get back to winning ways and start climbing the table.it dont matter who is in charge.I ASK YOU, CAN YOU CLAIM THE SAME GOALS?

You're abigger comedian than I gave you credit for. Your views don't get any better with age do they. I'd have thought you'd have grown up a bit by now.😉

I think it is you that needs to grow up. Do you ever read back what you write and realise how silly you make yourself look? In my world you work to your bosses orders as long as they don't contravene employment law. If it is TRUE that Hume has been undermining everything the manager has been trying to achieve then he has been letting down the fans and should go. Also, if my wife called my boss a f'ing w#nker then I'd expect my position to be untenable. Then again my wife wouldn't stoop so low. This, my friend, is the real world and I have no objection to professional footballers being exposed to it

Hume was great when he first came.

He has enough ability to walk this league as top scorer.

His international jet setting was a problem last year and will be again.

He became very injury prone.

We cannot afford his championship wage, even if Trevor paid him it would break the new rule.

He came back from injury so out of condition away fans were laughing at the 'little fat bald bloke'

His attitude off the pitch and that of his wife are alleged to be very negative to the new manager.

Such a shame but he has to go for me.

That said I would love a committed, determined, fit Ian Hume working within the clubs budget but then again I would like to be 21 again with a body of an Adonis and a multi million fortune.

Excellent summary. Good post.

I ASK YOU, CAN YOU CLAIM THE SAME GOALS?

I'm pretty confident that the vast majority of members on this forum want to watch a successful football team. I'm no different. It hurts so much to witness at close quarters what has/is happening at Deepdale these days.

The fact that you are a little bit slow in opening your eyes isn't a fault of mine is it? Just because I don't agree with the many views on here about Westley being the new messiah doesn't make me any less of a supporter does it?

I say this with sincerity, - I really hope I can come on this board in 10 months time and start a thread saying how wrong I was, and apologise for not having the same enthusiasm as others. If I do (and I would) that would mean a successful season.

Ian Hume is a good player but he isn't worth his wage - end of.

The world has changed and transfer fees are irrelevant because Ian Hume isn't the only one who is stuck at a club who can't afford his wages.

I've seen Hume work his proverbials off for the team and so I would love to keep him- in an ideal world. However, what if somebody else is hired who doesn't run all over the place trying to cover other peoples mistakes ( unintentionally causing more space for the opposition)but actually scores goals. Now that would be nice, wouldn't it.

Hume, you look good but your finishing is wank for someone who is supposed to be a class above.

Wake up people. He ain't all that.

I spoke to Westley about Hume at southport. He said ' would you want someone working for you who's wife calls you a f***ing w***er?'
Make of that what you want, but he did say he wants another winger and 2 forwards. I got the impression that trundle wouldn't be one but who knows.

Wow
In depth interview that one
There seemed to be a lot of people speaking to westley on Saturday, he's very congenial isn't he????

PNE4LIFE .....if we do have a sucessfull season i am sure you will get it in the neck.i admire your last post for your honesty.but do you need to ram your total negativity down everyones throat.

I wouldn' bother coming back in 10 months time to say how wrong you was, if that was to be the case. By that point, I don't think anyone would really take you seriously, do you?
