HOW

I would love to hear their reasoning behind the decision, is there anywhere they explain themselves? If not I think they should publish it somewhere and then we can see how consistent they are with decisions.

Depends why he was sent off, if it was because the ref thought he has the last man then fair enough, they've looked at the tapes and realised it was a mistake. If it was taken back just for the type of tackle it was then would see it as double standards.

The appeal was for Serious Foul Play!

Pearson would have and has lost similar appeals.

All very inconsistent.

Well yes we did get the points but we all know pearsons red card would still have stood. Something corrupt in football.
Very much so like the Borough lad said Pulis has friends in high places. It's not what you know it's who you know.

You only have to look at the Tevez affair when West Ham were let off for Fielding an unregistered player, sending Sheff Utd into relegation from the Premiership to see how corrupt football is. Trevor Brooking is such a lovely man though, he had friends too!

After all he did suck fergies dick that year we sacked darren fergie. We all know fergie had the fa round his finger

Unbelievable decision. Somebody should have sent that still to the FA of him, both feet off the ground lunging in, and asked is he in control here? Pretty obvious he couldn't have been

this astonishes me. if barker had not taken evasive action and allowed ayala to cause damage to his lower limbs (which would undoubtedly have happened if he hadn't skipped up in the air), not one person on this planet would have argued against a sending off. decisions should be made regardless of any resulting injury. but they are not. and this is why some players deliberately exaggerate that they are in pain following such tackles in order to convince the ref (and assessors it seems) that the tackle was a dangerous one - the classic example was when that player rolled over 4 times to get pearson sent off... then got up to play the rest of the game
