That Trump fella.

Isn't this just what I pointed out about the process over there?

Trump ran a better campaign than Clinton
Just as Boris ran a better one than Corbyn
A point some in the Labour Party need to learn PDQ IMO
Labour messed up when they said they'd hold another brexit vote (if elected).. it's no good to me anyway.. it's like a soap opera, I don't think any politican can do what is needed, they'd have to go against big business. They just want us to consume everything and hate eachother.... Imagine a politician coming out and promising to wipe out ALL debt... To end all forms of USERY and wage enslavement. And things like energy price hikes from companies who make billions in profit's... Untill they promise things like this then they can all fuckoff... When I was younger I wondered how on earth cigarettes could possibly be legal. It's because the people who have all the power and horde this power have stooge politicans who rule in proxy for them.... but instead .. argue about which town voted Tory or that the "thick bastard" north deserve hardship because they didn't want to be part of a cabal... Seeing the "thick north" thing implied on here all the time...
Your all the same to the %1 you know.

I presume you mean the Majority of the American citizens who voted for him then?

Except they didn't.
Twice.

He lost the vote on numbers (ie fewer people voted for him) in both elections he has run in.
The electoral college is a stupid configuration quirk that means he won more seats. Not more votes.
A couple of million less both times actually.

Frankly, you are talking tripe! What bit did you not understand about 'the leadership' ?

Well that's the system they have, and will have come the next one, and I have not heard any suggestions from THEM to change it

As I said too, our system is by no means perfect in that regard, some of our Constituencies are much bigger that others and each one can only sent one MP

Not quite sure what you are actually trying to say

Is it Corbyn ran the best campaign, but lost because of it?
That's a funny democratic way of looking at it
And it borders on repeating what some remainers were saying, anyone who voted for Brexit must be thick, a very peculiar way of convincing them to their way of thinking IMO

No wonder it failed

But thats not what yoiu said, once again you went into an ill informed diatribe about something you knew nothing about. You very clearly said "The majority of US citizens voted for trump."

Youve been proven to be the ignorant old bigot yet again.

I presume you mean the Majority of the American citizens who voted for him then?

Good job you don't describe yourselves as someone in favour of Democracy then

I probably know as much about these things as you

I know you were all out and convinced of a Labour Victory at the General Election and I warned it wouldn’t happen

What was the result again?

An 80 seat majority for the Tories

But don’t let your argument get in the way of the Facts

At least Corbyn and McDonald have gone (or soon will do)

As I have said before, are you now going to vote for someone with a chance of winning, or does the cause mean more to you than all these ‘poor people’ you keep going on about
And abuse from YOU and Nobber won't change a thing

He spent his own free time putting together an excel document with irrelevant figures supposedly pointing towards a labour majority.

Ha.

I dont even know what an excel document is let alone putting one together ;)

Your hero, Despot Donald, impeached forever 😭

Why do you keep mentioning tories and labour in a thread about the AMERICAN president? Almost like you are running out of actual arguments?

Well 26-0

The Donald isn’t my hero, and to be honest he is a bit of a 'twit' IMO
BUT he was elected by the American people in a system as it has been in existence for a very long time
AND I for one respect their right to choose which person they want has President, we don’t have follow everything he does, rather like Harold Wilson refused to be involved In Vietnam

Harold showed in that he had ‘more balls’ than some other PM’s we have had from both Parties

As to JamesOb

I for one see great similarities with what is happening over there with what happened over here after the Referendum

The people spoke, and the Establishment, and if we are honest most MP’s,did not want to implement it.

Likewise over there the people who normally have power in both Parties, don’t like a ‘brash newcomer’ upsetting what they consider their right to make decisions for the people

Back over here, I doubt many MP’s will want anymore Referendum’s, once bitten, twice shy springs to mind

And what a great pity that is, Democracy in action I say

Well I suspect 'The Donald' is rubbing his hands with glee this morning with the news from New Hampshire

As I posted earlier
It beginning to look like Boris v Corbyn again
But this time over there
With Trump v Bernie
Now to be fair I don’t think Bernie is a committed Marxist like Corbyn, but to many American Voters, I suspect they might think so, even Socialist is a bad word over there

And it as to be said at least he dresses the Part

Sadly for him, I suspect the result will be the same as over here as over here

Sadly for the future, you might be right.

On the other hand, the US has recently chosen Trump, and before that a Black President.

Both would have seemed as unlikely as Sanders beforehand.

I admit you have a point there

But I still don't believe Bernie will be a problem for Trump
I suspect many of the higher Up’s in the Democrats think that way too

Perhaps the will go for the ‘sour faced Lady’ who likes tearing up papers for the General Public to see

They are a bit desperate after all

Bernie is the candidate Trump least wants for a reason.

Well Winky

You have got me there, because I can't think of a reason
Neither it seems can the Democratic hierarchy who are desperate for someone (anyone) to beat him in the Primaries to really take on Trump

Hillary Perhaps?

No perhaps NOT that desperate
