Just back from Stoke,

Ben Davies was outstanding, an absolute collossuss! I swear he would have even plugged the hole on the Titanic had he been on it.
Different class and best defender outside the Premier League.

Could/Should have been 3 nil down at the break....but toughed it out till half time and then got the vital first goal.

Honorable mentions to Rudd who made some top class saves ( possible groin injury for me) and great shit housing.
And Nugent who was very good when he came on, maybe he can't last 90 min but he's our best striker still.

worrying slightly is Sinclair as he has made little impact last 2 games although he puts a shift in defensively.

and to finish .....James McLean is a wankers

Up the Whites!!!!!

The lad has came through our youth academy and cost us absolutely fucking nothing.

A bit of appreciation with a ‘he’s one of our own’ chant wouldn’t go amiss.
Yep, that was chanted tonight despite him being from Barrow and not being a North End fan. Makes no sense.

Hard for Sinclair to get into a game, especially when the majority of that first half we was in the back foot. He showed at times his experience though, he’ll be invaluable for the rest of the season. Hoping his class will show when we play the lesser teams we struggle against. Celtic would have played teams that sit back with11 defending, Scott will be well versed in breaking them teams down.

Davies was immense as usual, probably his best performance. Him and Pearo are Premier League bound with or without us.

That challenge on Verlinden was brilliant. Didnt commit, forced the winger to try and beat him and timed a perfect slide challenge to get the ball away from danger. Top class defending.

He just looks in control no matter what the situation is, If any scouts were watching that last night then it would be hard for them not to be impressed.

Not that familiar with the Prem but feel like Davies would be a good fit for Wolves if we didn’t go up.

They play a nice brand of football, like centre-halves who can play and there won’t be too much pressure on him to be an instant success I don’t think.

Only seen the 2 minute highlights, but the way Scotty celebrates Browne's goal, you can tell he's all for this club already. Great to see.

Davies was superb at the back along with Bauer. He was also, of course, involved in both goals too so is also a presence up front at set pieces. He still has potential to get better!!!!
