David Vine, bloody hell, great shout. Was he the the guy who did How?David Vine I seem to remember
I'll give you that. The Monty Pytthon 30 min. episodes weren't particularly funny but the aforementioned film was hilarious and Fawlty Towers an all time sitcom classic.I tried watching it years ago, nothing john cleese has done is funny,a dead parrot? What's funny about that?
That was Fred Dineage I believe. David Vine did Ski Sunday, Grandstand, the snooker and all sorts of other stuffDavid Vine, bloody hell, great shout. Was he the the guy who did How?

The benefits of being of more mature years. I remember A Question of Sport starting....that was 50 years ago. We watched as a family every week as we were all sports obsessedYou're bang on, good knowledge.
I stand corrected. I also remember him doing a programme called Quizball which didn't last anything like as long.David Vine I seem to remember
Probably 2-1 if it was the season after we went up from division 4. John Lowey, as bad a signing as McGrath made, possibly scoring his only goal for us,Beaumont claimed to be a Shitpool fan, but, I saw him at Deepdale one night. It was a Tuesday, about 1987 and he was stood on the Pavilion Paddock. I think we were playing Brentford and I'm pretty sure we lost.
Who's replacing them? Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember Bill Beaumont being team captain. He lived on Stanley Croft in Broughton for a while near some of my primary school mates. Was a really nice (and big) bloke

I reckon you're right. We seemed to sign a lot of Blackbum players around that time. Rathbone and Patterson, good, Branagan and Lowey, less so.Probably 2-1 if it was the season after we went up from division 4. John Lowey, as bad a signing as McGrath made, possibly scoring his only goal for us,
I do indeed. I read that there was a pilot episode before that which was hosted by Stuart HallI presume you remember Tom Finney on the very first episode?
