Match Day - PNE v Sheffield Wednesday - 21/11/20 - KO:15:00 - Championship

It seems barely possible that the same game plan can be employed in every single home game when it has been proved beyond doubt not to work. In fact, game by game it’s getting unbelievably worse. The Managers tactics are a shambles. He simply has no idea. Anything less than 3 points today and his time should be up.
 
First response when anyone picks up the ball is to turn back, which gives any opposition players ahead of the ball, time to get back
 
If we can’t win this game now, then we’ve got absolutely no hope. The lack of fluidity from the back 4 to get the ball moving into a counter is up there with one of the worst I’ve ever seen.
 
Barkhuizen has been a waste of a shirt today.

Potts has been sloppy at times.

No shots on target v 10 men.

At least 2 changes required at HT.
 
Time for a cup of tea and hopefully for a performance in the second half. That was DREADFUL! Ten men and not even a shot on target which I can recollect. We don't look like scoring in this match at this rate.
 
Potts has been far too plodding and inaccurate for the #10 role.

DJ and Ledson sitting far too deep - incredible to see against 10 men.

Sinclair being asked to attack all by himself, because Rafferty isn't interested in supporting him.

It's slow, insipid, and demonstrates exactly why we've scored 1 goal in 5.5 at home this season.

Sheff Wed looked the more likely - losing a man didn't really make any difference.
