We will be debuting our huge new Town End surfer to celebrate the life of Sir Tom on 5th April.

The Proud Preston skyline surfer will be passed over the Bill Shankly Kop

We are looking for volunteers in both stands to help us

We are particularly in need of helpers for the Town End.

All you need to do is be around about 20 minutes before kick off to help get them ready and maybe help bag them up just before kick off (once they have been surfed before kick off and as the teams come out).

Thank you to people who have been in contact so far, your help is appreciated.

Ideally we could really do with a couple more folk to help with the Sir Tom Surfer on the Town End due to its size.

We have been down to Deepdale today to have a look at the new surfers.

Due to the weather we decided not to put them out but have a slight teaser with what room we had on the Town End.

Hopefully these will give you an idea of the sheer scale of them.

We reckon the Sir Tom Flag is one of the biggest in the UK.

These are just a few snapshots.

We aim to get them surfing 10 minutes before kick off then bring them back down just after the teams come out.

Anyone who is near the bottom of the Town End and Kop We will need your help to get them going for us.

We can all be really proud of the efforts made for these. They are massive and will be a real spectacle for years to come.

By eck they are massive, Sir Tom’s family will feel incredibly proud seeing them live and on TV, mind so will all the fans.
