The bible is my favourite book
The bible is my favourite book
And if it helps YOU then all well and good. The bible is my favourite book
I thought it would tap into the anxiety side of things but it was more about fear controlling your life such as 'not going for that promotion at work' etc. That does surprise me. Was it too theoretical?
I think that's simply that Pippa Grange is an applied psychologist, and Matt Haig is a writer.I thought it would tap into the anxiety side of things but it was more about fear controlling your life such as 'not going for that promotion at work' etc.
It was interesting don't get me wrong and I'll definitely take something away from it but was hoping for more on the anxiety side. Especially after Matt Haig's Notes on a nervous planet hit all the right notes for me.
Yeah - She's amazing at what she does though.I think that's simply that Pippa Grange is an applied psychologist, and Matt Haig is a writer.

Hope the book helps your daughter and she is feeling better very soon.I read your post on this, and have sent a copy to my daughter. I hope I did the right thing, she is going through a tough time at the moment, stress and depression.
Unfortunately I cannot make the journey to Preston to see her, if I could I would but perhaps it may help.
I rarely send a book I haven't read myself, but I did read reviews and the history of the author.
Hope you like it. It made me laugh, but I'm a left wing vacuous toss pot.Finished Vex Kings Good Vibes Good Life book last month.
Really enjoyed it, didn't quite have the mental impact that Notes On A Nervous Planet by Matt Haig had but I'd still recommend this.
I've downloaded How to survive the end of the world as recommended by @Soapy - Was 99p on Apple books the other month so I just downloaded it.
Having a breather from non-fiction at the mo so reading a Harry Potter book, still love these since reading them at school years ago.
Some great recommendations on here though all.
