to be fair there is usually a few 2nd years carrying the 1st years through at this stage, but we have very few 2nd years left who were key players last year...

It will often change around the new year as the new team evolves..... Good to see Best back playing after his thigh injury.

The 1st year scholar age group is apparently the weakest age group in the academy

true but at this stage last season they had a defence built around Nevin; Blanchard; Coulton and Lombard, with Seary the only 1st year and he had a pro deal.

Once Wallbank; Taylor and Best get back to playing together again the goals will be defended better....especially if Prad is in the nets as well.
