The Copa del Rey has been @ the Estadio de La Cartuja for a few years now. The Andalusian regional government did the deal with the Spanish football federation. This stadium was built originally for the World Athletics championship. Seville already has two other La Liga stadiums….Real Betis...
It also depends which coppers you’re dealing with in Spain…….Guardia Civil, the Policia Nacional or the Policia local. The Guardia Civil where we are, are really scary bastards whereas the local rozzers are absolutely great.
Being pedantic, the Waterloo and City line was named thus because it ran between Waterloo station and City station ( now called Bank). Waterloo station was named because it was close to Waterloo bridge. Waterloo Bridge was a renaming of the existing bridge to commemorate the victory at Waterloo…..
