Works his bollocks off...you've gotta be kidding me.Works his bollocks off, it's boring as fuck reading this shit.
He's tailed off this season dramatically in form, but he's not lazy, I don't know how you measure 'disinterest'.
Bodin and Nugent were under contract last summer. They could not simply be released
Problem is who’s gonna take him on loan after the Ipswich farce? If anyone does it’ll have to be in League 2 you’d wager, or maybe one of the teams promoted from thereThere’s no way he’s a striker. Even in a two he just wouldn’t have the physicality to play up front. As a striker you’re expected to enter physical battles and aerial duals with defenders all game. He doesn’t have any pace either. And playing there in U23s football is nothing like in the Championship.
He’s a midfielder. So he either forces his way into the team there, or he goes on loan again and we reassess in 12 months time when he has a year left. I suspect the latter is what will happen.
It’s called confirmation bias. DJ covers acres of ground in a match, often tracks space and cuts off passing lines. He doesn’t thunder into tackles though, and therefore doesn’t appear to have the influence on some games. This somehow translates into lazy accusations, which are so way off the mark. This isn’t opinion, it’s fact. Just watch him. Whether he’s any god or not is opinion, but level of work rate is more objective if you choose to see it.Works his bollocks off...you've gotta be kidding me.
Their's times when I forget he's actually on the pitch, strange how people can see games so differently, that's football I suppose.
They love him at WrexhamMaybe back at Wrexham too, could be a stellar signing for Ryan Reynolds & the other fella to launch a big campaign to get back in the league.
This is getting confusing....I thought he was referring to Sinclair? It’s called confirmation bias. DJ covers acres of ground in a match, often tracks space and cuts off passing lines. Would love to agree with you - there is a skilful player in there but AN did give him a go but he flopped on each occasion, to be fair he was unlucky with that bad injury but he went to Ipswich fully fit and basically flopped again when he should have. ripped it up in that division - can’t see Frankie playing him to be honestUnder a new manager and a clean slate at Deepdale, I’d love to see Harrop given a fresh start.
It’s obvious he wasn’t an AN player and we don’t really know what’s gone in at Ipswich.
But I think there’s a very good player in there if he can be managed properly on one hand - and pulls his finger out on the other.
Would love to see him back and firing on all cylinders next season.
Don’t give up on him yet. 🤞
Agreed, and it's not like we've missed him since he went either.Would love to agree with you - there is a skilful player in there but AN did give him a go but he flopped on each occasion, to be fair he was unlucky with that bad injury but he went to Ipswich fully fit and basically flopped again when he should have. ripped it up in that division - can’t see Frankie playing him to be honest
Thats who i thought too! This is getting confusing....I thought he was referring to Sinclair?
Apologies - my mistake!!!Thats who i thought too!
Think it was and @Mooney has got his wires crossed.
BTW.Apologies - my mistake!!!
Sinclair is a typical attacking player - for me it's about playing with knowledge of when to move and when to stand still. Wouldn't say he was lazy particularly. I recall an interview on Talkshite with Andy Cole saying the best piece of advice he ever got as a striker was from Peter Beardsley and it was 'stand still...the space will appear around you'.
I think its over for Harrop here unfortunately. Would love him to prove me wrong. I just don't see where he gets any game time, so many way in front of him in all the positions he can play, he's even less likely to play in a 3 5 2.
If that's the case then hopefully another loan in League 1, but I don't think there'll be a queue after his performances for Ipswich.
Stand still NOT take bloody root !Apologies - my mistake!!!

AN was, believe it or not, the driving factor behind Harrop getting a new deal.Under a new manager and a clean slate at Deepdale, I’d love to see Harrop given a fresh start.

If true, there must be something going on in training because he then only played him 5 times after that before we loaned him outAN was, believe it or not, the driving factor behind Harrop getting a new deal.
He’s another one we’ll end up loaning out because no one will match the wages he’s on here, and rightly so.
Quite bizarre if so. I think we all assumed it was just another case of meddling from above.AN was, believe it or not, the driving factor behind Harrop getting a new deal.
Perhaps he could join Tom Clarke at Salford for their promotion push next season.I think its over for Harrop here unfortunately. Would love him to prove me wrong.
