I remember 606. The flying plumber et al. Think a lot of members tried to migrate to new forums when 606 was canned. PNE-online seemed to have a bit of an uncouth reputation over there - too much abusive behaviour and rude words apparently… surely not? 🤣
 
I went to the Moor Park meet up but can’t for the life of me remember who was there.

I also remember a 5 a side tournament that Shaky arranged somewhere in Chorley. My team got to the final but we ran out of time to play it as he’d only booked the pitch for two hours 🤣

More recently - albeit nearly 14 years ago now 😳- was the pne online charity matches.

Here were the teams with the names of the guilty removed for their own protection.

Ps I’ve done my best to cover the names and apols if any are still visible.

Recognise a number of those names that don't appear to post here any more (unless under new guises). Noticed a couple that I know 'in real life' as well.

Lanzaroteview - I met Mark in Cardiff for the 2001 PO Final in a pub by pure chance. He ended up Banned though. 😂

2012, 'Shaky's' Wake. Didn't go to that pub on my scooter though mate, I'd sold it a few years earlier. Went on the train, from the Gold coast😎😉

You go through those names and there are so many memories...

JD...didn`t know you used to be Pornstar! We`ve had some contact, but can`t for the life of me remember where or when...but I did wonder where you went!

Albertan and his statistics.....lol.....I remember being the only Admin online one night when he and Mossy started on each other big time. Threats hinting at physical violence were made. Three newish posters DM`d me multiple times during the evening demanding action....until finally before going to bed, I sent them each the same frustrated message saying` FFS, one of them lives just around the corner from the Spar, the other is under 15 foot of snow in Northern Canada, where do you think they are meeting up to fight, sodding ICELAND! `. :)

Big George..was that the same as Where is Big George, who later became `The Voice` and got banned?

....but mostly I`m come on to post tonight in rememberance of Boltons1, after seeing him mentioned above. If I`ve got the right username he was a lovely bloke, a teacher, taken away far too young by brain cancer.

He was True Gentry and he asked us to remember his cause.

I reached out to Patti and she is still around. She is not as fanatical as she was back then, but she still follows the team. It was nice to hear from her.
 
Love people like Patti. There have been a few threads over the years of people who have absolutely no affiliation whatsoever, or even the most tenuous of links to the city of Preston, but who actually chose to support PNE..... And just as passionately as you or I do as born and bred Prestonians.

Am I right in thinking Daddyman is one of these intriguing nutters?

Who else is out there, there must be a few of you surely. Don't be shy, share your stories.....

We should all get together when Covid fully fucks off and go on a lads holiday to ibiza or Amsterdam.

Me, thee, Preston lad, stf4eva, SF, BPIG, Muzza, CALI, Billy mac, james0b, snicky, MBcha, Daddyman etc etc

A ragtag bunch of absolute fucking degenerates all stomping round the Amsterdam red light district absolutely tanked up out of our eyeballs.

You'll be having to take one for the team tho mate & get married to a tranny so if we get stopped by the cops we can just say we're a very progressive bunch of good lads on a stag do here to cause no aggro just having a whale of a time.

I can see Lord Edgington as tour guide with blazer and cravat, and Portillo style lemon slacks.
Equipped with a megaphone at the front of the party discussing the cultural aspects of Amsterdam and waving his arms in despair as we all head into the red light district.
