1986/7 : Obviously JT and Gary Brazil got all the plaudits but I used to love Oshor Williams…

He was out for 3 months of the season with injury but still scored 14 goals in 36 matches…..

Yeah - I meant more I was surprised he was a good footballer rather than just a big lump up front!

I went on holiday to Hollywood in 1979. I switched on the TV in the hotel room and found a football game between two American teams. Gerry Ingram was playing for one and another former PNE player (i can’t remember who) was on the other team.

Unfortunately i couldnt make a league 2 set as my finish season was the div 3 title winning season with Saville and Wilkinson!

Elwiss always played the No: 10 role unless Alex was injured. One sub in those days.

He played deeper than a CF but never shirked getting stuck in.

Will always be one of my PNE legends.
