Forum Style Change

Not read the whole thread but suspect it must've already been raised but on mobile I now have to scroll right back up to the top of the page to tap the PNE Online banner to take me back to the home page. I've always navigated the forum in this way. The update does look pretty but I'm finding that change quite irritating.

I do likewise.

Will find a work around.

I deliberately went live like this so users can identify things they would like improving or amending.

Not on my Laptop it didn't .... It was awful.
 
I've got to say it feels like I'm on a dodgy stream site with loads of inadvertent links to pop ups to viagra subscriptions.

In the attempt at making it feel a bit nicer can we please choose a less harsh font and can we lighten the blue a touch? Also, the PNE-Online banner as has been mentioned needs keeping in place for ease of navigation. The messages have been loaded since you last post needs changing from a barely readable yellow. I think I preferred the lightning bolt emoji link to the latest posts too but can live with that change.

Edit: And can we please darken the grey banner that seems to go around each post, it doesn't scroll too nicely for my eye.
 
Got a little issue I thought I'd bring up:

I use this forum through Firefox on my phone. With Firefox, the web address bar is at the bottom. The bar will disappear as you scroll down but reappears when you scroll up. When trying to use the new buttons at the bottom (Forums, What's New, etc.), they don't work unless the web address bar is present. So if I've scrolled down and the bar has hidden itself, the buttons won't work and it'll think I'm hitting whatever is underneath this new button layer thing (e.g. hitting the Terms and rules section at the bottom of the page rather than hitting What's New). I can live with it but thought I'd mention it in case it's possible to fix it

Ah, I thought that thread (which is now this thread) was just a dumping ground for all the off-topic crap from the Summer Transfers thread. (y)

While I'm here, the "Messages have been posted since you loaded this page. View them?" message is now an unreadable yellow on yellow background.

You obviously need glasses. I went with barely readable.

I haven’t used Firefox for a while but I’m pretty sure you can move the web address bar to the top in settings. Personally, I prefer it at the top.

At the top of the page there is a little switch box in which you can choose to temove the add on at the bottom.

Just had a look and changed it so that now it's at the top. Issue still persists for some reason. Even with the bar at the top, when the bar is hidden it thinks I'm hitting whatever is underneath the new buttons

The new thread was loaded with the summer transfer discussion posts discussing the new forum style but it was meant to be a new thread on the subject.

@JK is reading this thread and working on the issues raised.
