    UK Politics

Its ha Its hard to understand what they actually contribute. If they don't pay taxes and most of their wealth is tied up in assets? I'll gladly see them off at the airport. Probably makes little difference which rock they choose.

Current location of North end fans

No boats running unfortunately, lots of the restaurants are not yet open either. The advantage is the place is quiet, roads OK, the beach we've sussed out-Megas Choros- is a beauty and we have it all to ourselves more or less. Early in the season for excursions, otherwise we would have done...

Rumour has it that the club are investing in a colour chart, viscometer and a big mop.

Sounds like a dull game which might have been livened up a bit if Browne (takes after his name) had done a Linekar on the pitch today.

    How the media works

GB news continues to broadcast outright lies. "Lee Anderson MP went on GB News this week and said Care4Calais are “as bad, as complicit, as the people smugglers. They are actively encouraging young men to come from Africa to go to these camps.”"

    Lancashire Cricket 2024

Northern Quarter, just off Thomas Street. No frills authentic curries, top value. We usually walk from piccadlly then get the tram to OT. Lad was wide eyed when the owner was telling us about Wasim, Athers too. Told him it was the spinach in the curries that helped him swing the ball. Job done. :)

Headed Manchester way in the faint hope of some play. We're back on the train now. Tucked into a biryani at the Kabana in town with eyes on the live blog. All was not lost. The owner tells me the Wasim used to frequent the place, can't get a much better recommendation than that. Nice and warm...

Leicester city - cheating their way round the rules

They'll still benefit from being promoted again. Points deduction would have to be for this season for the sake of justice. Otherwise its a risk worth taking for Leicester and others

    Riis and our striker situation

Not so sure but who knows. I'd keep him if we could.

    Riis and our striker situation

Do you think we'd get as much as £5m for him with a only a year left on his contract? Compared to what we ended up with for Pearson and Davis?

    Riis and our striker situation

Since his return from injury, say from the Bristol City game at home when he came om at half time. We've played 12 games, won 7, drawn 3 and lost 2=24 points, promotion form. 3 scenarios *get him to sign an extension *sell him in the summer at a knockdown fee *keep him until his contract expires...

    Play-offs Prediction

As an educated guess were are mathematically safe. 13 teams between us and the relegation zone, they would all have to overtake us. They can't all get the points needed as a lot of them will play one another.
