Maybe that is part of the PNE plan to assess who might be kept on or culled as to who is worth persevering with? There are after all some rare diamonds to be found that can shine in higher standards even at an early age. eg. Bellingham, Bradley and Mainoo are doing OK
Don't know if cops had some kind of prewarning about potential bother at the match but there seemed to be an awful lot of them hovering around outside yesterday
From what I have seen of him so far [although others may well disagree] I think he will continue to struggle to adapt to life in the championship. Just cannot see what his skill set is [other than falling down that is...he is good at that]
It seems Sep is a bit fed up with being shunted around by Liverpool without being given an an opportunity at Anfield. Thinks he may have to leave to restart his career elsewhere. Would he want to come back here, would be able to afford him? the mind bogles at the thought.
In all fairness the criticism of our pitch is justifiable. Even the groundsman agrees that it has been nearly impossible to keep it up to standard due to all the wet weather etc. and not having a hybrid one or undersoil heating plus not enough arc lights to compensate for lack of sunlight. It...
Agree it was an instinctive save, so full marks, however his kicking out tonight was some of the worst I have ever seen with the majority going to the opposition, nowhere in particular or into touch. Surely that should have been taken into consideration before awarding him MOM.
Whatever Browns attributes are, and he has quite a few, a quick give and go is not one of them. He seems to dwell on the ball too long and either gets tackled or the prospective recipient has then be marked. Maybe next time Lowe watches Liverpool he can take Brown with him to see how it's done.
