Absolutely no link whatsoever..,..

Normally this would have "insurance job" written all over it. However, the police now think that it was started deliberately - given that it was made public how the owners were fraudsters there'll be hundreds of people they'll have conned and it only takes one of them to take things into their own hands. It was "mad Friday" after all and there would have been lots of pissed up people on their way home around the time the fire started.
 
The two involved are regular faces down at the British Car Auctions, iv'e never had the pleasure of doing any business with them but knowing what i know, i wouldn't buy a pushbike from them.

If you were going to do an inside job that's exactly the time you'd do it ,putting plenty of others in the frame.
