So we need to wait for someone even richer to turn up, or at least someone more willing to throw money into a black hole. We want more players, we want better players, we want the stadium repaired, we want cheaper season tickets (wait until the prices go back up and the sales plummet), we want a cat 2 academy, we want a covered training pitch, we want better catering…

I must have missed the bit where it asks them to put more money in or sell the club. If anything it is suggesting they need to find other ways to bridge the funding gap than put more money in

When Mr Hemmings bought our club for 5p a share he knew exactly what he was doing and how much of a loss making venture he was taking on.
If the family are fed up with it all then let’s hope they realise that if they want to pass on the custodian duties to someone else then they may not get their ‘fair price’ as we didn’t when the Hemmings family took control.

It’s funny what you remember but I am pretty sure that the Scunthorpe goalie was called Gregory…

Also Neil Pointon was playing full back for them that day and the day after he signed for Everton.

A good letter well written with some very good and valid points, also backed by many of the supporters groups, hopefully the club may possibly take note and it will be interesting to see a response from the club, but I doubt if there is one that it will cover the points raised in any depth. 🤔

Its not a 'load of shite' at all but a lot of what you say there is almost certainly true, and that's the problem isn't it? Why should we get some bullshit, patronizing responses from PR? Why should we have to stop going to watch our club to make things change?
