It’s a nonsense letter. The owners subsidise the club to the tube of £Xm per year. They don’t want to spend more. It’s their choice. So we need to wait for someone even richer to turn up, or at least someone more willing to throw money into a black hole. We want more players, we want better players, we want the stadium repaired, we want cheaper season tickets (wait until the prices go back up and the sales plummet), we want a cat 2 academy, we want a covered training pitch, we want better catering…

Moan moan fucking moan.
Good evening Peter Cropper…..

It’s a nonsense letter.
Its clearly a very well written and thought out letter. You may disagree with some of the content but to call it nonsense is sycophantic rubbish.

It doesnt despute that and actually thanks them for their support

I must have missed the bit where it asks them to put more money in or sell the club. If anything it is suggesting they need to find other ways to bridge the funding gap than put more money in

We want more players,
Yes

we want better players,
Yes

we want the stadium repaired,
Yes

we want cheaper season tickets (wait until the prices go back up and the sales plummet),

Many of the groups on that letter spent all summer helping the club sell season tickets and raise thousands for Flags.

Whats your point here?

we want a cat 2 academy,
Yes to help secure the future of the football club so we can develop our own players and become self sustainable.

we want a covered training pitch,
Well yes.

So do the club.

Our club was formed in 1880 and we dont have a indoor training facility.

we want better catering…

Yes - Heathcoates are awful.

Moan moan fucking moan.

Yep.

All you have done is moan, moan and fucking moan, having clearly not actually read the letter throughly.

Maybe you could provide them with some constructive feedback next time.

I found Peter 🤣🤣🤣

It's no wonder fans are so apathetic with attitudes like this. Bet his next sentence mentions it was worse when we had to play in the afternoons and re-election blah blah blah
He was probably one of the 2,007 on November 5th 1985

When Mr Hemmings bought our club for 5p a share he knew exactly what he was doing and how much of a loss making venture he was taking on.
If the family are fed up with it all then let’s hope they realise that if they want to pass on the custodian duties to someone else then they may not get their ‘fair price’ as we didn’t when the Hemmings family took control.

Good, well intended letter.
You speak for many.
Sadly, expect a condescending response at best.

Well I know of 20,070 who were there. I wasn't and obviously missed a massive occasion! 😂
I was stood behind the goals on the Kop , right down at the front….

It’s funny what you remember but I am pretty sure that the Scunthorpe goalie was called Gregory…

Also Neil Pointon was playing full back for them that day and the day after he signed for Everton.

Load of shite that will achieve absolutely nothing.

Get some well oiled reply off Peter with other peoples names to it, and then as you were.

95% of you moaning about Deepdale, the strategy and ownership, enable this to happen by paying to go on every week.

Vote with your feet. Sending a letter to a spin doctor bullshit merchant will change nothing.

A good letter well written with some very good and valid points, also backed by many of the supporters groups, hopefully the club may possibly take note and it will be interesting to see a response from the club, but I doubt if there is one that it will cover the points raised in any depth. 🤔

We have every right to moan with the way the football club is being run.

"Load of shite" Do fuck off.

It's a well written letter and a lot of thought, care, and co-operation between several fan groups went into it.

Why not try to do something positive yourself instead of whinging and putting people down all the time?

I’ll give it until 12pm tomorrow before Peter comes out with some bullshit statement about ‘paying the taxman’ and how lucky we are to have a club.

Can imagine he’s pacing round the living room now thinking about all the sarcastic comments he can put in his very patronising response.

Its not a 'load of shite' at all but a lot of what you say there is almost certainly true, and that's the problem isn't it? Why should we get some bullshit, patronizing responses from PR? Why should we have to stop going to watch our club to make things change?
