Any News on Hughes injury?

I don't know, he was holding his hamstring a little as he went to the halfway line to go off. Hopefully just a niggle though whatever it is, because he's been brilliant this season. Outstanding replacement for Cunningham

It shows how important Hughes has been to us this season, in that he has played more minutes than any other PNE player this season.

Was holding his ankle in front of us and really didn’t want to go off.

Was having a really good game until then too, either way the break has come at a good time to rest up some of our injured lads.

AN has said barks has a knee injury so that could be anything but hopefully just a tweak so rest will be enough.
No news on Beluga though.

Hughes getting assessed properly tomorrow, potts will be fine for reading game, not thought to be anything serious.
International break come at the tight time

hughes was flexing his back first half and that could be a bit nueral and therefore affects his hammy... the ankle could jus tbe that he was caught on it but already had the slight problem.

Browne was in a boot on Saturday and struggled to go down the tunnel due to the muddy edge of the pitch - Doc didnt want him to slip.

Potts appeared to aggravate the knee problem he had been out with recently....

no idea on Barky but Clarke seems fine climbing over the advertising boards !

So our medical staff tested his twisted ankle and manage to yank his hamstring. No wonder we've had so many problems this season ;)
standard test - if I'm going to have to get off my seat and run onto the pitch, on a cold wet day, I'm going to make sure you are in pain !!!

Stops them faking injury when all they want is a rest.....

If you notice, occasionally the ref will signal for our physio 'not' to come on, but Jacko wont even have stood up as he had no intention of coming on!

Really hope Hughes' injury doesn't keep him out for too long, hes been excellent for a few months now after a shaky start (he wasn't alone in that!).

Earl hasn't really pushed on this season after his excellent breakthrough season last year. Learning from someone like Cunningham must have been really beneficial for him. His cameo appearances this season haven't been too promising - albeit v Boro he was up against Howson who was one of their better players, and playing LWB which clearly isn't his natural position.

Maybe a loan next year would do him the world of good, so long as we have a back up ready to slot in should Hughes be unavailable.
