CONFIRMED Castore - Kits & Club Shop

Any competent commercial lawyer would have put minimum service standards in the contract. It’s not a case of poor performance, the standards would be set down as:
1 the supplier will have available a minimum of..available
2 if any product sells out it will be restocked in a maximum of 14 days
3 failure to meet the standards will result in a penalty charge of £X per product per day

(Paraphrased for brevity)

Unless, of course, the club are just happy with the fee paid by castore and aren’t bothered about:
1 fans being happy/feel good factor
2 the marketing opportunity of loads of kids wearing north end gear at football practice etc

Absolutely spot on…..

Absolute short sighted bollocks from PNE.

Capture a kid with a bit of merch from a young age and you could have a supporter for life. There's been fat chance of that, for the past ten or so years and thought that Castore might be different. Such a shame because the this season's kits are the best for years.

Bitterly disappointed with them....FFS, listen to the fans and sort it out Peter/Craig or whoever needs to.

the more you pay the better the advice, so being pne probably paid the minimum & got stitched up, whereas villa / newcastle probably had some gumption about a relative new kid in town producing kits & had seen the complaints at rangers so made sure the contract was in their favour should things go sour , just my view from this remote outpost

I'm really pleased with the hoodie, seems decent quality, although it should be for 60 quid. The feel is more of a training top than a normal hoodie which is usually a sweat shirt with a hood. My only (slight) grumble is the Par Group Logo on the back. I'd have preferred that not to be there to be honest. But having said that, I won't see it, so all is good. :D (y)

Might be worth having a look online from Monday 9am 20th November

Still showing the same stuff as they've had for weeks.

5 weeks to Xmas & there's hardly anything in the shop & even less online.

Really really poor from PNE / Castore.

Rang today to get a ticket for Huddersfield away (local game for me) and asked the guy at the ticket office about the green hoodies, and he said the club shop had a '16 pallet delivery' over the weekend. Have since rang the club shop to ask about ordering them over the phone due to where I live, and he said it was only available through the website if not going in in-person. Still not available online, but he did say they were looking at updating the site soon in advance of black friday so fingers crossed.

On another note, if anyone is off into the club shop and wants to do an exile a favour, I'm happy to send the cash via paypal for someone to pick me a green hoody up in large!
