CONFIRMED Castore - Kits & Club Shop

Can we get the Yellow kit anywhere yet? Still can’t see it online have they taken stock of this too?
What size? Haven’t been able to get my 6 year old shorts and they only have socks from size 3.5+ not home or away socks either. Nearly the end of November and still haven’t managed to complete a kit for him

It’s such a shame the club shop has ended up in a worse state than our previous suppliers.
The kits this year are the best we’ve had since the Baxi days in my opinion.
My son’s birthday is early December and I get him a North End top and his grandad ends up getting him a Leeds top. Looks like he’ll be just getting Leeds this year 😞😞

Use the Leeds top to clean his boots 😉

Not good, Castore have been very poor, and that badge on the merchandise makes every item look cheap and tacky at expensive prices

You could argue that 90% of football merchandise is the same.

Take a look in Englands shop for example.

I have bought plenty from The Terrace over recent years as an alternative.

Whilst I would have preferred a embroided badge on the kits they are decent quality and 100% improvement on the Just Sport/Nike shirts.

I can't comment on any of the other products as they have not actually had much to sell or look at.

It really is simple retail management though.

If you are launching a Black Friday 'Sale' - you have the products available to purchase online at the same time you launch it.

Someone asked yesterday about a callander... they said they had them "in a box" but couldn't sell them... i mean its turning money away.

I do have some sympathy for the shop as it seems they have no idea what is arriving and when, however as you open a box, you take a picture, you upload it and add the epos/sale details to the system.

If this means a bit of overtime is required so be it.

I find it ridiculous that given all the iasues with Just Sport that PNE have allowed us to get to November before they had a half stocked shop, especially with with parents being nagged to buy Christmas stuff.

Yes - we know how the franchise model works but if a parent/carer who isnt really into North End that much ends up buying a PNE scarf, hoodie, tee shirt etc for a kid for christmas or just goes on sports direct and buys a Liverpool product instead could make all the difference.

Anyway, hopefully they are finally getting on top of it now and all this can be put down to experience but something tells me it will always be an issue whilst we continually franchise out.

Just look at the interest on this thread alone. The club is really missing out on a good revenue stream.

Checked out the shop earlier. Pretty grim. T-shirts for 50 quid. Hoodie for 60 quid. Some cheapo rain mac for 80 quid. All looked bland and cheap. Only good stuff in there was the actual kits.
Awful pricing.

You xan buy hoodies officially inside Gigs for £35 and they fleece punters, too.

Just a cheaper fleecing of fans. How can they justify £60 against £35 and the £35 hoodie has more artwork on it!!

Mother in law went in for me, but they'd sold out of Large green hoodies already.. she picked me up an XL but pretty poor offering that, really.

I have to say I am very underwhelmed about Castore, yes the shirts are far better but not keen on anything else.
The green hoodies seem popular but not for me. Prefer alternative stuff, as mentioned previously, I love my hoody I got from Amazon

Think a couple of bits are starting to filter through on the online store this morning.
Seen a scarf and hat that I don’t think were there yesterday
Yeah, i got an email this morning which said " Get your accessories "

Mugs, Scarves, Hats, Badges, Fridge Magnets, Wallets, Footballs etc etc

No polos, hoodies or coats though...........

Me neither. I think the green stuff is awful personally.

Each to their own.
