Not good, Castore have been very poor, and that badge on the merchandise makes every item look cheap and tacky at expensive prices
You could argue that 90% of football merchandise is the same.
Take a look in Englands shop for example.
I have bought plenty from The Terrace over recent years as an alternative.
Whilst I would have preferred a embroided badge on the kits they are decent quality and 100% improvement on the Just Sport/Nike shirts.
I can't comment on any of the other products as they have not actually had much to sell or look at.
It really is simple retail management though.
If you are launching a Black Friday 'Sale' - you have the products available to purchase online at the same time you launch it.
Someone asked yesterday about a callander... they said they had them "in a box" but couldn't sell them... i mean its turning money away.
I do have some sympathy for the shop as it seems they have no idea what is arriving and when, however as you open a box, you take a picture, you upload it and add the epos/sale details to the system.
If this means a bit of overtime is required so be it.
I find it ridiculous that given all the iasues with Just Sport that PNE have allowed us to get to November before they had a half stocked shop, especially with with parents being nagged to buy Christmas stuff.
Yes - we know how the franchise model works but if a parent/carer who isnt really into North End that much ends up buying a PNE scarf, hoodie, tee shirt etc for a kid for christmas or just goes on sports direct and buys a Liverpool product instead could make all the difference.
Anyway, hopefully they are finally getting on top of it now and all this can be put down to experience but something tells me it will always be an issue whilst we continually franchise out.
