Champions League /Europa League

So, so jealous of those West Ham fans.

Could you imagine playing away in Europe, let alone winning a competition.

All we’ve got to look forward to is Ben Woodburn lining up in Striker 🥲
To right just been watching the scenes on you tube from full time last night fantastic to win a trophy for Moyes & Co, plus there in Euopa League next season. Would love to just to celebrate getting promoted to prem one day but won't happen anytime soon Warton. Moyes was under pressure few weeks ago as well in prem now won a trophy.

One other thing, all of the media outlets are saying it's the 1st Trophy that Moyes has won in a 25 year managerial career, have they forgotten, thus showing us disrespect, our L1 Title in 2000?

At least they got the 25 years part correct which does acknowledge us.

Canny the way the media (BBC and LBC at least) have airbrushed out the fact that the West ham fans assaulted the Italian captain during the game. The other reporting suggest that it was an isolated fan which is pure comedy. Hope Moyes now moves on and north from that hotbed of ugliness. Id love to have his 'brand' back here.

It's a " real family club" did you not hear them tell us about ten thousand times at the end of the game.

Happy for Moyes, not happy for West Ham.

Maybe, but for balance what about the packs of Italian 'Ultra's mixed in with local youth's attacking the West Ham fans prior to the game. No excuse for the coin incident but your posts on this thread are insinuating it was only West Ham fans to blame for all the trouble yesterday.

Back on topic, I'm delighted for Moyes and for West Ham. A few fans goading us years ago after a play-off game isn't going cause me a lifelong grudge against them.

First time I've heard of the Europa Conference League. Is it the Euro equivalent of the Auto Windscreens Biscuit Tin?
It's a new European trophy (started last season). It's basically a step below the Europa League. If you win it, you get into the Europa League next season.

To be fair the incident is on the front page of the football section on the BBC website so not really airbrushed out.

The result will always be placed above any incidents like that particularly as they won.

It was on the BBC TV news last night too - with significant prominence.
