CONFIRMED Club Statement - Whats App Message

They do need upgrading and constant maintenance is needed every week.

Interesting though we wouldn't have to change to LEDs if we ever got promoted but ours are way off what is required in brightness.

Personally find it a bit odd though that the commentators would mention it as they are perfectly bright enough.

As for the pitch... it's the end of January, we can't afford to have heat lamps over the whole pitch and we don't have undersoil heating.

The job Peter and the team do is first class.
The brightness spec is to meet the requirements of filming top flight games. Its not about being "perfectly bright" to the fans in attendance. LEDs are the only way forward for any forward thinking club. So yeah, we don't need them.

Wouldn’t the cost of replacing bulbs with LEDs be balanced with lower electricity bills and lower maintenance?

Yes, but that only really helps an ownership who actually intends to be here in years to come - to see the cumulative cost benefits over time.

In the same way we have the concrete jungle on the invincibles now hidden behind some cheap meshing. And laughably they want a round of applause for doing it.

Now that game is out of the way can we start to focus on reality.

Ridsdale needs to go.

What's gone on in the past 2 weeks is an embarrassment and showed contempt to every fan.

When you said he was on "last strike" what did you mean?

Nothing changes until fans withdraw support and demand Ridsdale leaves the club.

The manager might not be the best manager but he's not the problem here.

Boycott the next game, it's simple! He'll be gone

Notice how Spurs fans were chanting for 'Levy Out'. Ours won't do the same with Ridsdale so we'll never be rid of the fat twat.
They probably don't have to worry about Levy ringing or texting them.

In all seriousness, Spurs have probably the best stadium in the world, challenge for champions league every year. Have managed to keep hold of one of the best strikers in the world yet they have reason to moan.

I'd swap Ridsdale for Levy every day of the week.

All that said... they will win fook all once again but this self entitlement is boring.

Even so, they still underperform and have done little of note for donkeys years, new stadium aside.

Of course though, we have more reason for complaint.

They issued a statement and put up some new netting. That will keep everyone happy until summer surely?
It took them just short of 15 years to put up that netting, our owners and advisors have been sitting across the “Incompleatables stand” for that long.

From the official PNE website “Reconstruction has now been completed, with the new 'Invincibles Pavilion' opening its doors for the first time when Crystal Palace visited Deepdale on Saturday 16th August 2008.”

Interesting tonight to hear the BBC commentator saying how poor are floodlights are.

They were noticeably poor last night, really patchy and uneven with some parts of the pitch much darker than others.

The commentator is used to Premier League standards every week, so the difference the LEDs make will have been pretty clear.

The first step is surely we need to be told what has gone on.

I doubt very many fans even know.
Exactly this. It’s all well and good advising the fans they should be furious with what’s gone on but until we actually know what’s gone on then it’s just not going to happen.

I realise it’s sensitive for the forum with the police involved but until it all comes out then nobody is going to be able to do anything.
