On a different note speed bumps cause people with spinal problems major issues.
Edit:
Highways are nothing to do with Preston City Council.

Any speed restriction which forces you to drive below the speed limit is plain stupid.
....and I have a bad back, speed bumps have given me extreme pain and more problems in the past. Result being, I drive ridiculously slowly over them which really pisses people off who are behind me.

Strongbow;n3397298 said:In fairness with amount of potholes on Lancashire's roads nowadays then most are undriveable in truth Andy.
LostinSpace;n3397058 said:Maybe not, but isn't highways that dictate the use of speed bumps on minor roads, that's the councils "job".
Roger Mellie;n3397297 said:I don't know which idiot at the council/highway agency agreed to the closure of Hoyles Lane at the same time as roadworks on Cottom Way and Sidgreaves Lane both with temporary traffic lights which don't change sequence for over 5 minutes. Its a bloody joke for anyone going towards Springfields or Bartle
