What liberation said mushCurious how you think cyclists should "share the road"
At least have a bit of respect to a reasonable question instead of replying with “mush”. Cycling away from the kerb and cycling two abreast are strategies design to keep cyclists safe, rather than rely on the inequitable myth of “share the road”What liberation said mush
I seen them on ball lane on satuday. Bunch of twizzlesTwo or three times this week I’ve turned a corner in my car and encountered several youths in the middle of the road doing wheelies on their bikes.
I often walk on country paths and some cyclists are absolutely reckless in their lack of consideration for pedestrians. To be fair there is a lot of discourteous cyclists around.. when cyclists make a real effort to share the road I slow down and give them the thumbs-up. Arseholes on both sides it's just that there's a lot more cars on the road than bikes so we see more motorist arseholes
Wait until you hear about motorists…I often walk on country paths and some cyclists are absolutely reckless in their lack of consideration for pedestrians.
There is an arrogance amongst some (not saying all) of them.
I think it's fair to say there are good and bad motorists and also good and bad cyclists.Wait until you hear about motorists…
Hence why I get irritated at “share the road”I think it's fair to say there are good and bad motorists and also good and bad cyclists.
Not tatrring everybody with the same brush.
Haven't ridden a bike for many years. I'd be scared to do so in todays traffic conditions.
If it's possible I walk or take public transport.
I do drive but don't enjoy it.
Disgusting, should have squashed 'em.Two or three times this week I’ve turned a corner in my car and encountered several youths in the middle of the road doing wheelies on their bikes.
Wait until you hear about motorists…
You might want to go and do some research on that.Yep dickheads on both sides.... But please don't defend two abreast bike riding because it's pure arrogance and to be honest it's bloody dangerous..
What was Corbyn saying recently? You never know, one of these fine days, there might actually be a politician that emerges that realises, conflict costs billions, and serves no purpose, other than to make arms manufactures rich. Maybe even get a politician that actually comes up with an idea to pursue peace, and that war doesn't do anyone any good, just kills a lot of innocents.
Maybe even discover that we can actually do some good by making peace an objective and might be beneficial to mankind, sink some money into developing, agricultural projects and clean water facilities in areas of depravation. Could even start looking at things that could be beneficial to the planet, such as housing people and creating jobs.
Probably take some doing though, firstly we need to rid the world of the dick-heads in charge, the ones that know fuck all about anything and think aggression is the way forward.
Unfortunately, we are in a situation that those who are elected to govern, appear to be intent on destroying the planet and are totally oblivious to the fact that it is down to them to reverse the eventual catastrophic climax.
You might want to go and do some research on that.
There's cynicism... there's extreme misguided cynicism.... and then there's this ^^^^
Not saying that a world war is impossible, but to imply that it's a conspiracy of some rich folk is just too too much.
Two abreast? It was three abreast yesterday, taking up half the road.Yep dickheads on both sides.... But please don't defend two abreast bike riding because it's pure arrogance and to be honest it's bloody dangerous..
I don't feel strongly enough about the issue to tackle a cycling radicalist like yourself. At least have a bit of respect to a reasonable question instead of replying with “mush”. Cycling away from the kerb and cycling two abreast are strategies design to keep cyclists safe, rather than rely on the inequitable myth of “share the road”
It is…THE ENDNo it isnt.
You don’t need to “tackle” me at all, I don’t know what a cycling radicalist is but I do understand transport choices and the legalities and behaviour of different road users. So I’m willing to have a thoughtful discussion about it if you want to.I don't feel strongly enough about the issue to tackle a cycling radicalist like yourself.
Get real Reg......... Try and wake up because that's exactly what it is and why your petrol and energy prices have gone up and why the government do feck all about it.... Of course it's a conspiracy.. What the hell do you think it is? A series of coincidences?
He sounds like he knows far more about it than you Reg..... And there you go again, defending the BBC... Frightening.![]()
