So here we, the start of our build up to the World Cup in 8 months. Apparently last year we had the 2nd best goals per game record in the world, and the best conceded goals per game record. But Southgate concedes in the big games, and the big moments we need to improve on the ball.

Switzerland today with quite an experimental side. Glad Foden is in. We badly missed him not being fit last Summer.
 
A hobby horse of mine but Mason Mount yet again looking like a fish out of water. Others haven't played well either but he’s often presented by the press as one of our top players, someone to watch - yet the only watching of him I’d do is to try and work out how ineffective he is.

Rather him than ‘golden boy’ grealish. The fans demanded he played and started more last summer. Every time he started I wasn’t impressed. Even more so now I see how he plays for city. One of the worst 100 million pound player you’ll ever see.

I don’t see the big deal about Grealish either but at least he gets on the ball and tries to make things happen. Mount is just totally anonymous.

And no I won’t take it back if he scores in the second half!

Jack grealish: 4

The only thing Jack grealish makes happen is warming the bench.
 
Just turned the game on as England awarded a penalty and briefly saw the "handball" on the replay.
How the fuck was that a penalty?
The guys hand was struck when he wasn't even facing the ball. No intent whatsoever.
Excellent finish by Kane though. Top player.
