Bit of a dead cat bounce for me. Not suitable for the long term. One moe game and ainsworth would have kept Wycombe up.
It's all down to Trevor and if Frankie wants the job full-time.

Iversen making great saves in a number of games isn't luck. It's his job.
It would be a fantastic opportunity for both of them to progress their careers. Hopefully they would see it this way. Personally, I'd like to see Gally get some minutes on the pitch in front of a Deepdale crowd before he officially hangs up his bootsHe's done very well. Part of me wants a complete re shuffle, the other half recognises the results he achieved since AN has left. I'm edging give him the chance if he wants it full time. Also maybe Gally as assistant if he'd want it.

Perhaps we can witness repeat of this. Never fails to make me smile.
Surely that could only happen in a friendly? His playing contract ends this summer so, unless his player registration is retained, he’d be ineligible for a competitive match. It would be a fantastic opportunity for both of them to progress their careers. I did and as I stated the goal was lucky do you agree, the fact we were the better team is not the issue .If you watched the match (unlikely) us not beating Swansea would have been awful - we were the only team looking likely to win.
Frankie McEvoy is Interim Head Coach with James Beet reporting to Peter Ridsdale on recruitment , that appears to be the set up going forward , with McEvoy or A.N Other in the role of Head CoachFrank has shown that he’s a great man manager and has motivated the players to put in performances, but what we need is better recruiting of players. We’ve spent too much on inferior players and a lot of them are going to be still under contract next season. Do we stick with the same players with an interim manager or bite the bullet and have a clean sweep. That would cost money and I suspect we’ll go down the cautious option.
Who's to say his registration won't be retained? Gareth Ainsworth made an appearance for Wycombe in August 2016 - more than 3 years after he 'hung up his boots' as a pro.Surely that could only happen in a friendly?
