We can now officially announce that Saturday 4TH March away at Fulham is Gentry Day. PNE are putting a special train on for the trip and we are all hoping that as many of us as possible will be there to remember passed friends and fellow North Enders.

You can post your memories and dedications for Gentry Day on our special thread.HERE

More info' on the train will be on the official PNE site.

SPECIAL TRAIN SOLD OUT

You can read more about the Gentry at the dedicated Gentry Website and you can show your support for The Gentry on Facebook and Twitter @pnegentry

In partnership with the club's travel partner Virgin Trains, PNE will be running a football special for the trip to Fulham in March.
The game has been selected by Preston Supporters Group for the annual Gentry Day celebration and after the success of the three football specials run in the past, a direct train will run once again.

The train will travel from Preston to London Euston and back again after the game, and supporters are asked to make their own way to and from Craven Cottage.

The match takes place on Saturday 4th March, with a 3pm kick-off and tickets for both the game and the football special will go on sale at 9am on Thursday 26th January.

The train is for PNE supporters travelling to the game only, and will be going direct to London Euston from Preston.

Supporters will arrive in the capital in plenty of time, with an estimated arrival time of 12.30pm, and an expected departure time of 7pm after the game. Train times will be confirmed in due course.

The prices for the train, for standard class and first class, are as follows:

Standard Class
Adults £30
Concessions (Over 65 and U16) £26

First Class
Adults £40
Concessions (Over 65 and U16) £36

The First Class option includes food on both the outward and return journey.

The football special train tickets can be purchased by calling our commercial team on 0344 856 1960 or in person from the ticket office. Match tickets must be purchased in a separate transaction.

PNE have been given an initial allocation of 2125 tickets for this game, and prices are as follows:

Adults £25
Seniors (65 and over) £20
18 to 21-year-olds £20
U18s £1

Fulham Football Club request that any junior under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

There are nine pairs of wheelchair disabled tickets available which are priced at half of the above prices, with a carer ticket free of charge. Please note that four of these pairs are restricted view.

Ambulant disabled supporters can also purchase tickets at half of the above prices, and Fulham have recommended that ambulant supporters purchase tickets on Row W where possible.
Please note, under law, as the train is travelling to a sporting event, it will be a dry train - no alcohol will be sold on the train, nor is it permitted to be brought or drunk on board. Each carriage will be stewarded.

Alternative travel is available, with club coach travel also available for this fixture. Coaches are priced at £27 for adults and £25 for concessions and coaches will depart both Deepdale and Leyland at 9am.

The Gentry Day celebration, run annually by supporters to remember those fans who are no longer with us, has become a popular event, with a sell-out away end at Bolton Wanderers the last game where fans donned their suits and bowler hats and this year’s trip to West London is expected to be another memorable day, with a high demand for match and train tickets.

The smarter folk amongst us have already secured cheaper trains which we can sup on! Nice match ticket prices again though

I think at those prices, we will take 3k given there are people who have already booked train tickets, etc.

Correct.

Even smarter* are those with decent but cheaply priced hotels, before they rocketed, so that they can guarantee watching David Haye destroy Tony Bellend in a pub somewhere without fretting about any possible train delays! :D

Got a good price on train and hotel in London a few weeks ago , not as good price as the special train but can have a good slurp going down and back. Worth the extra money .

Great respect to Fulham. Same prices as last year. £26 for me and my 15 year old son is a cracking price for what is a cracking away day. I just paid £47 for the equivalent at Villa.
Ill be there. Really looking forward to this again this year.

It is a good price , was getting fares around the sixty pounds mark using the -25% off season ticket discount . Nearest to that price was traveling from Crewe which was £34

If its an 11 car Pendolino...which it usually is, it has 444 second class at £30 and 145 first class at £40 ....so a sell out should be 589 on the train.

PS. Pendolino 390028 would be appropriate as it is named City of Preston.
