  • As you may be aware, North End forward Finlay Cross-Adair appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court charged with a string of offences including several counts of assault and stalking. He will next appear at Preston Crown Court on June 30 for the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing. In order to not prejudice the forthcoming trail and to ensure no defamation cases could be made against users or the forum itself we request that users do not post anything regarding this case on PNE-Online. We always wish to allow freedom of speech but our number one priority is ensuring the future of the forum. We will keep this policy under review once this case has gone to court. Many thanks for your continued support.

Championship fixtures release date.

Not long until you can start planning those midweek trips to Plymouth & Ipswich.

Head to head league record between the Plastic bastards v Preston North End. To date from 107 games that have been played, 30 games have been drawn.

Plastics have won only 32, PNE have won 45.

No matter what the result on Saturday the plastics have a long way to go to come close to us.

Just like the Lashers - in head to head they are miles behind us.

Lets hope we make it 46 - 32 and stuff them chicken sniffing, caravan dwelling, tracksuit wearing troglodytes!

I am guessing you are not keen on folk from Blackburn then👿

What about PNE's Gally?
( IMO a top bloke )
Agree. Gally is a nobber through and through now!

In fact once the inevitable has happened and McAvoy is potted i'd like to see Gally be given the caretaker job. 100% certain he won't balls it up and will have the respect of the dressing room.

Lot of Yorkies used to do that (go back to Yarkshire) so that their offspring could play cricket for Yarkshire.

It’s hard to believe that at one time you had to be born in the county to play for them.
That's the way it should be now.

It seems you only need to drive past a county or fly over a country to be eligible to represent them.

The first time, when I was young that I came across this, was Tony Greig not just playing but flippin' Captaining England, weird....
And only 3 / 4 seasons following the "D'olevira Affair" , too.

Cracked me up about what he said about what his team would do V. West Indies.

....and unofficially you also had to be white (despite large Indian and Pakistani communities in Leeds and Bradford for whom cricket was almost a religion.)

Was out in Salisbury, Rhodesia (as was) late 1972 and saw a Rhodesia v International Wanderers match.
Tony Greg played (along with Close, Erdrich, D’Olivera and others) but according to the crowd he was called “Priscilla” for some reason. 🤔

I think we lead the head 2 head against all the North West clubs except the Mancs and Scousers. Certainly Plastics, Lashers, Bolton, Dingles and Wigan. I've never looked into Oldham, Bury, Rochdale and Stockport.

I am dreading this game more than the Lashers match. I am a Darwen lad and my friends and my sister's partner are all plastic fans. They are going to give me so much grief if we lose and I am not feeling very confident right now. I can stand a close game, but not a hammering. I know I'm being a little pessimistic, but after losing to the lashers I'm worried that our lot will not be up for it again. Woe is me.
