Not going to verbally abuse the man as some would but he needs to reduce the asking price and leave.

Received £20M in transfer fees over the last year yet less than a quarter has been reinvested into the playing squad. Perpetually hasn’t backed the manager in chasing his number one targets.

Promised the fans a training ground and a fanzone yet has gone back on those promises. Also, bewilderingly, suggested that it was either the playing squad or the training ground, yet we have received neither.

Not giving AN the funds to invest in a goalkeeper and a striker is gross negligence of the highest order. It is now time for him to sell to somebody who has ambition to move the club forward.

what if the manager isn't up to the job and investing in him would be seen as a waste of his money, yes a new 3 year contract but I would suggest that covers any other club wanting him.

Has Craig Hemmings been brought in to try and prepare the club for a potential buyer while keeping our championship status intact and on the cheap (balancing the books) much like Dave Whelan did recently?

Before you can sell something it has to have a value that is acceptable to a buyer.Always remember-How do you make a small fortune from a football club, start with a big one.So all these carpers who keep going on about spending fortunes on very average players whilst all you are really doing is linning agents pockets and bleeding the club dry, would you be willing to spend your money on say buying an extra season ticket for a non existent friend to help boost the coffers.Thought not.

Hemmings got a multi million pound valued company for just £164k.

I think he is quids in whatever happens.

I suggested this a few weeks ago and kinda got slated. It screams to me that we are being prepared for sale.

I believe so. Minimal investment in the squad, despite incoming transfer monies, plus of course the apparent backtracking on the training ground and fanzone.

It's a risky strategy though and we could well end up back in League 1, when the club would be less of a saleable asset, certainly at the price Hemmings allegedly wants.

It’s looking more and more likely that we’ll never actually have a proper shot at promotion with this group of players.

Pearson, Davies, and Browne all have 1 year left as of next summer.

We'd actually have been better selling them this summer for £15M-£20M each rather than the <£10M we'll get next summer....

There needs to be something from the club, some honesty about our strategy and how we are going to move forward as a club, as currently we are not even standing still, we are moving backwards. Unfortunately we will just get the same old statements of not being able to compete with the silly transfer fees and wage demands. If that's the case then what are we doing about it, how are we looking to raise investment so we can move forward?

With the recent appointment of his son, has TH strategically distanced himself prior to the expected shit storm? Nice of him to throw his son to the wolves to save his own skin. You have to be ruthless to be a successful businessman right?

Can sadly see one or two of them leaving in January. They'll want to go to an ambitious team that pays them what they're worth and actively challenges for Premier League football - or is already in the Premier League. Hemmings to pocket that money as well. Yes it may come across as hypochondria, we still have over 5 hours to pull a rabbit out of a hat, but we won't.

Where even is Hemmings today?

No doubt TH has made a big financial commitment to the club. £120,000 a week is the general consensus which to my mind is a relatively big amount. He basically preserved and saved his local club of which he was never a die hard fan. So credit where credits due.
However I believe he has reached the glass ceiling in terms of ownership, both in personal and financial commitment.
No owners of clubs similar to ours can ever hope to be in it for financial gain. It can only be about the prestigious aspect of success and winning regardless of the cost. Therefore the only way we will ever move forward as a club is for him to increase funding, somthing he won't do or sell. The question is when, and only he can answer that.
