Sad news this morning that Ilene Booth, a North End stalwart home and away (and of Coach One fame), sadly passed away yesterday.

First time I came across her was just before the United cup game. Proper character. RIP

At 79 years of age, Ilene Booth boasts to be Preston's biggest fan by going to every home and away game and always makes sure to be back home in time to deliver her papers.

RIP Ilene. She was a good friend of my Sister (sadly pass away too). I would always make a point of speaking with her when she came South with North End. Always up for wearing fancy dress last away game of the season. Genuinely sad to hear this news.
