Looking at a post further up suggesting how much DJ , BD and BP could be worth with longer contracts attached , would it be better selling for a nominal fee this window but with a good sell on clause and maybe recoup some money when/if the get sold on for good money ?

But why would they sign contracts if as free agents they can take the transfer fee as a signing on fee? They could possibly pocket millions instead of the club getting the money, and then get a good deal on wages.

Mind you that depends on clubs having cash to do this, which is very questionable with most Championship clubs.

I know that . If they are purposely running them down for that reason which I presume they will be . If the club got a low offer this window do you think they would/should take the offer ? We could then recoup some money on sell on fees .

Mate from uni is best mates with BW and he told me he’s signed for 3 year undisclosed fee. West Brom and Derby also in for him.
