Millar on a perm deal and a quick CB. Would say we need a left sided defender but with hughes Cunningham and Brady on the books I don’t think that is likely…maybe RWB and play Potts in the middle if whiteman decides to leave.

Depending upon what happens with Whiteman, that for me is our most important position/decision. When McCann returns I think he can play there as he showed at the start of the season, and i have high hopes for Lewis Leigh, but this position stops our defence getting overloaded, and when filled properly gives us the time develop our own such as Best.
I wouldn’t be pushing the boat out on Whiteman’s pay, I view him as our version of Jordan Henderson, solid, but slows the game down, which in most games doesn’t seem to quite fit to Lowe’s preferred style.
I’m sure most posters disagree with me, but that’s my view.
