Didn’t Wilder say they’d had clubs asking to take him on loan but Sharp himself wanted to stay at Sheffield.Guessing the Billy Sharp stuff is just Twitter bollocks
I read he said no to Forest and wants to stay at Bramall lane, if that's the case leave him alone, he won't give 100%Didn’t Wilder say they’d had clubs asking to take him on loan but Sharp himself wanted to stay at Sheffield.
Other than 1 spectacular goal, he was pretty anonymous when he was at Forest beforeI read he said no to Forest and wants to stay at Bramall lane, if that's the case leave him alone, he won't give 100%
Had his baby son not just died then? He went off the boil on the pitch at one point, understandably so.Other than 1 spectacular goal, he was pretty anonymous when he was at Forest before
His little one died in 2011, he played for forest 12/13 season. That being said, I’m surprised he ever got back to football after that, horrendousHad his baby son not just died then? He went off the boil on the pitch at one point, understandably so.
Correct. He was at Doncaster when his boy passed away and he scored that goal just a few days after it I believe.
Absolutley, testament to his characterHis little one died in 2011, he played for forest 12/13 season. That being said, I’m surprised he ever got back to football after that, horrendous
Unfortunately I can't see us getting Sharp.
However going back to a comment from ChipBarm to keep an eye on players returning to parent clubs...It's got to be either Surridge or Scott Hogan.
Hogan who is still living off his 4 month purple patch at Brentford so not sure on him. Surridge I would be happy with.
Hogan so far has stolen a living.Unfortunately I can't see us getting Sharp.

Bolton fans loved him... dedicated the 'we've got song' to him and he was great to work with....
But at this time I'd prefer Stockley and am in no way proposing we should sign him....
I think Chippy may know our targets and perhaps he's giving a hint, getting our target over the line is a totally different matter. As much as Chip Barm is ITK, I think it may have just been educated guesswork by him.
If a player is being recalled by another team, whether it's due to lack of game time or a permanent move/better loan, of course we'll be a possibility. Think of Sam Johnstone as one example, Man U brought him back so he could go and get promoted with his hometown team while getting match experience with better players.
Truth is, we could go for anyone and sign anyone. But with the secrecy behind PNE's transfer deals, we don't know what's going to happen.

Nketiah still not fixed up although there are several clubs keen on him
