11th tier Westfield FC announce the signings of Dan Gosling and Charlie Daniels

Part owned by Steve Cook so he’s pulled some strings with his mates but still 😂

Season 1 Shane GIF by Sony Pictures Television

Macclesfield owner Robbie Savage appoints himself manager after sacking 7 managers in the last 4 years
Means that ex-North Ender Nicky Hunt has also left the club.

Savage was practically manager anyway previously if the stories are true of what he's been like. Already in the dugout for some games rather than in the stand like normal directors.

Emilie Heskey will be coaching at the club on occasions. Hoping for Brig to play Macclesfield on the opening day, would be a bit of media attention 😂

Bamber Bridge v Macclesfield at BB first game of the season would be good, great crowd guaranteed

I suspect Brig will be at Matlock for the 1st game

Good work at Chorley with the new ownership showing their intentions.
An update on developments at Victory Park below and a long needed update to the infrastructure. Proper drainage and up to date pitch technology, new pitch side barriers, executive areas and food and drink facility
Not Sheik Mansour but step by step really sound progress.

They will be one of the favourites to go up next season…

They've made a good few signings with good records from last season but mainly from the league below.
Lost a few key players too to full time teams.
Depends how good the new players are.
The progress off the pitch can only help attract a better standard of player.
No iminent plans to go full time which is what they need to do if they are to survive in the national league. Word has it that they will do this step by step over the next few seasons

I don’t think I could get my head around Chorley being a professional team if it happened 😆

I know what you mean, but who would ever have imagined Bromley , Forest Green or Sutton in the football league
Only a couple in the national which aren't and a good few in national leagues North and south who are.
Not that big s fan to be honest, it's got to make financed uncomfortably tight overall. One does it then everybody else is under pressure to do the same to compete.
You can tell the difference between a part time and full time team when they play one another, especially in terms of strength and fitness.
