Don't think its an issue with the forum.

Try deleting your cookies and or try a different browser.

Sounds like Windows has got a virus.

Switching from Edge to Chrome worked.

Won't need the magnifying glass, thanks Nobber, and I do not have an alter ego.

I was a member from yonks ago but for a while, after having previously interacted on here, I stopped logging in and just viewed as a guest. When I came round to logging in again it didn't work so I had to set up a new profile in 2017, even though I'd been on here for years.
