These bastards have no shame whatever.

Absolute legend.

I’d love it if he asked for his MBE to be removed in protest of the Tory government voting against feeding starving children.
Well said. Nobbs. Humbling to see that someone in his position not only appreciates what he has, but still remembers what happened in his childhood and wants to help children and families in a similar position.
He's shown more sense and humanity than the whole Toerag government.

I think he's too cool and will remain above the politics and let the govt actions and gutter comments speak for themselves to help his noble cause

But he has accepted the MBE and actually has added it to his name on Twitter.

Hand it back, make the point.

Theres nothing this shower love more than playing dirty and suggesting an issue is politically motivated rather than one of integrity and humanity. Since they have none of the latter It's their comfort zone. Hence muddying their Manchester fiasco by trying to isolate Burnham. They would love to try to suggest that Rashford was being influenced and motivated by what they would call a far left socialist agenda. He won't let them into that space if hes smart. Which he seems to be.

It's a ridiculously low bar for the state when 'ensure children of the nation are fed' is a matter for debate and not necessarily the role of the state.

If ensuring the most basic of human needs is not their role during a pandemic one has to ask what is?

Whenever we see spontaneous acts of kindness, support and mutual aid it truly warms the heart but underneath that is a simmering anger that there is a government that seemingly does not care. It has to be said, that whilst this policy appears to have misjudged the mood of the nation as we see at election times there are a lot of people in this country who do object to the poor and vulnerable receiving support.

Those Tory tweets seem vile to anyone with a heart and a shred of compassion but there are a lot of selfish people in Britain nodding along in agreement.

What those in power gamble on is that the kindness of others will fill the gap. There is another gamble they miss. That is, that every time human beings come together and do something off their own back to help each other and themselves out they make government and hierarchical authority increasingly irrelevant. We are to reverential in this country to power and we are to compliant to raise torches and pitchforks at MP's offices (much as some of them deserve it) but mutual aid and support is infectious. I think collectively, and especially locally we have no idea of our own strength and confidence to look out for ourselves and each other.

Yesterday was a good day for people to remind themselves of that

Kids are starving in the U.K. while our MPs who voted to keep it that way, are given a £25 a day food allowance and get to pick from this menu in the Houses of Parliament each day. F**** Raging here, yet it’s just accepted.

Meanwhile, a petition is up and running.

I notice Ben Bradley has yet again been amongst the worst of them, saying that the money from government vouchers has effectively been spent on crack and prostitutes, they truly are repulsive people.
Bradley is an odious character at the best of times. He's the moron who had to apologise to Corbyn, and make donations to charity, as a consequence of accusing Jezza of having sold secrets to communist spies. Poor Ben: thick as well as nasty

Haven’t felt as angry and ashamed of the Government than in the past few months as on this issue. Fair play to Rashford for sticking to his guns on this and not letting it go. In the 21st century we should not be debating about helping vulnerable kids, who can’t be responsible for their parents choices.

They don't seem to realise how cuntish they look and just keep coming out. They're completely in another world and have disappeared up it without a trace.

Or another possibility is that they simply don't care.. because they know the "end game" and we don't.
