“Task force formed by Marcus Rashford”He welcomed them on board to help him feed the nation's hungry children. Do you seriously think Rashford was involved in the vetting and appointment process?
I do think that £30 vouchers should be issued rather than food parcels, however they should only be able to be spent at the major supermarkets or maybe co-ops who can properly administer this.£30.00 food voucher direct to family for £30.00 of food to feed starving kids = socialism = bad.
£30.00 to private Co. to provide £5.00 of food to starving kids and pocket £25.00 for shareholders and CEO = Capitalism = Good
What a strange country this has become.
Sounds like a nightmare for you that.I do think that £30 vouchers should be issued rather than food parcels, however they should only be able to be spent at the major supermarkets or maybe co-ops who can properly administer this.
If my experience of having a Convenience store for 20 odd years is anything to go by it would be abused by some.
The amount of arguments i used to have with certain customers if i wouldn't swap a Milk voucher for alcohol or cigarettes was unbelievable and more often than not to be told fine i'll go to 'xxxx's.
I would on occasion take them for groceries but strictly speaking i shouldn't have done that.
Vouchers yes but only through outlets than can properly police it.
All credit to Marcus Rashford too.
I guess that sums it up really.
