He welcomed them on board to help him feed the nation's hungry children. Do you seriously think Rashford was involved in the vetting and appointment process?
“Task force formed by Marcus Rashford”
”Marcus Rashford’s campaign”

Who knows? He has been heavily involved from word go.

To be clear I think what Marcus Rashford is doing is phenomenal and his recognition for it is hugely deserved.

£30.00 food voucher direct to family for £30.00 of food to feed starving kids = socialism = bad.

£30.00 to private Co. to provide £5.00 of food to starving kids and pocket £25.00 for shareholders and CEO = Capitalism = Good

What a strange country this has become.

I do think that £30 vouchers should be issued rather than food parcels, however they should only be able to be spent at the major supermarkets or maybe co-ops who can properly administer this.
If my experience of having a Convenience store for 20 odd years is anything to go by it would be abused by some.
The amount of arguments i used to have with certain customers if i wouldn't swap a Milk voucher for alcohol or cigarettes was unbelievable and more often than not to be told fine i'll go to 'xxxx's.
I would on occasion take them for groceries but strictly speaking i shouldn't have done that.
Vouchers yes but only through outlets than can properly police it.
All credit to Marcus Rashford too.

Chartwell's have confirmed it is their package anyway so it's irrelevant and juat another case of whataboutery
I know it’s the left’s favourite buzzword but it isn’t ‘whataboutery’, it was someone seeking clarification on the situation.

I guess that sums it up really.

Youre not in the slightest bit offended about the 25 quid of taxpayers money going to the obscenely wealthy instead of the kids but someone challenging the so called Whataboutery of another poster triggered you.

amazing.
