If only it was that simple.

Pearson's choice of pass is one of the strongest aspects of his game. The position in which he plays means that naturally he will play fewer balls through to the attacking line (and have fewer opportunities to do so), than the likes of DJ / Harrop / Browne.

Yeah it is.
All you need to do is look at results so far to see how irrelevant form is.
Brighton have t won all year - beat Arsenal.
Arsenal haven’t lost all year - lose first two games.
Form is completely irrelevant after a 3 month break.

Well that pass against Leeds was from in our own half after a Maguire interception. Plus Leeds had alot of bodies forward. He clearly has the vision, it's all about the movement in front of him

Yes, but the point remains. Even if we had the best movement in the world, it wouldn't be his 'job' to play those types of balls and thus shouldn't be expected on a regular basis.
