I really can't think of a goal we have scored where we have been quicker in getting the ball from halfway inside our own half into the opposition net than for out first. I can think of the odd one that may have been very nearly as quick but quicker - genuinely can't.

Yes - that would have been faster. It went straight in with no-one else touching it. Thinking about it the goal Lonergan scored at I think it was Leicester would certainly rival it - that would I think get the prize for the longest range goal for us in memory possibly ever since Lonergan was in his own area when he hit it.
