Did ok in the first half and defended well. Sadly, Lowe's main motive was to just defend and hope one of the many lumped balls would bounce back off someone's backside into the Spurs net.
Granted, there was of course a gulf in quality and Son is a class act. I would've liked to have seen us actually give it a go though but 1. Lowe was too spineless and 2. Some players quite clearly aren't up to the task.
I was proud after we were beaten 4-2 by Arsenal, proud after we were beaten by Man Utd - we actually gave it a real good go in those games and there's no shame in losing in that manner.
Tonight, our attacking play was just beyond pathetic.
I don't want to say too much which I might later regret, but I'm just so fed up of this club, the pathetic way it is run and the constant specialising in failure.
Oh well, at least the FA Cup cash can go towards paying off another shite signing!

I remember watching the match in a pub in Willesden Green with an Italian football fan. I hadn't long been back in the UK after living overseas, for some years. I had no interest in North End for a decade, living overseas, no computers or internet, just an occasional English out of date newspaper.
My daughters got me back into the club by coming to London one cold wet winter night and dragging me off to Roots Hall to watch us play Southend. Kidnapped and forced by 2 obsessed daughters who were determined to get me back into the fold.
I then became a Nobber again, although only once visiting Preston in 20 years, watching North End in London games and games in the south. So the game v Arsenal was televised, and I got the local landlord to stream it on TV, we had not long completed the BSK, so we had the STFs and the BSK finished, and the ground looked great from the cameras, somewhere on the Pavilion, remember the Italian saying fantastic ground for a 2nd tier team, he could only see the 2 sides and a bit of the Town End.
I was so proud that day, what a performance, a battling, fierce attack on the 'Mighty Arsenal', even in defeat magnificent.
Yesterday, what the fuck was that, compared to the Moyes team total shite, no attacking intent. This attacking, pressing game that Lowe promised disappeared somewhere last season.
Disappointed, the owners need to go asap.
